Rethink Capacity

In the fall of 2012, the City of Garland began meeting with several organizations to establish a capacity building and networking framework for leaders of local faith-based and nonprofit organizations. The purpose of the meetings was to communicate the Garland 2030 Vision with the hope of collaborating on community transformation activities.

The Rethink Capacity training program, administered in partnership with BE The Delta, is the next step in capacity building and partnership preparation for organizations that serve Garland citizens. The topics covered in this 6-month program will give non-profit executives and managers the tools they need to build their internal capacity, identify their support network in the community, and collaborate on important community initiatives.
